(Fox) News flash: trees are causing global warming.

More bad news: the U.S. Justice Dept. is against net neutrality. Comcast is already implementing it's own form of resistance by shutting down customers that use a lot of bandwidth. Probably only a matter of time before other large ISPs begin doing the same. Is this the beginning of major change to how the Internet works or just an incentive to "replacing" it all together? What do you think the Internet will be like in 2020? CNet has an idea about what has killed net neutrality. Or you could just move to the UK which has a much smarter Internet policy.

At least one judge out there is still trying to protect us American Internet users.

And get this, a recent study shows that human kids are smarter than apes.

So the other day, when I linked to a study about how more kids are being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, I made a snarky comment about prescribing them more anti-depressants. Today the media is claiming that the decline in use of antidepressants may be causing more youth suicides. Interesting how buried in the middle of this article are these words, "...it's still not clear whether the drop in anti-depressant use was responsible for the increase, since so many factors play a role in suicides. It's also not yet known whether the increase is part of a larger trend or a one-year aberration, said [a director at the CDC]."

On to lighter subjects...have you been to a concert lately? Did you turn around & see no lighters but a sea of lcd screens?

How about some good news...Guinness really is good for you. Since I'm starting boot camp on Monday, maybe I should go buy some tonight.
