Imagine virtual worlds being linked together...does this mean I could run from WoW to Second Life? That would be cool and it seems quite a few people are considering it. Speaking of WoW, here's an interview with a Blizzard exec about that the future of WoW, Starcraft, etc. If you've never heard of Second Life, they you are behind on some interesting stuff. For example, an Italian IBM labor union is protesting within Second Life - yes, virtual labor union protests...what's next? How about making $150K/yr in real life from your Second Life activities?

I read about this family a few months ago...seems they are still at trying to live a zero-impact life in Manhattan. They have a blog that's not referenced in the article (their laptop is solar powered...no mention is made of what they'll do with the lithium battery once it stops working...or the plastic casing of the laptop).
