Russia says stay home from work & make babies. Meanwhile Americans can now expect to live 78 years. No, I'm not going to preach about population issues, I'm sure you already have your own opinion.

Check out the new models of teeny-tiny cars!

Those of us who are both Jon Stewart and movie fans may be cheered by his being invited back to host the Oscars.

This morning on Good Morning America (I was watching), they said, and showed a chart, that women who take birth control pills have a 22% increased chance of getting cancer. Um, not. At least they've got the correct info on their web site. [Update: my bad - seems it does increase if, like me, you've been on the pill for decades.]

Who's reading your email? According to a post on Slashdot, a Ponemon Institute poll of more than 16,000 U.S. IT practitioners, 62% said they had accessed another person's computer without permission, 50% read confidential or sensitive information without a legitimate reason, and 42% said they had knowingly violated their company's privacy, security or IT policies. I tried to find a source for this data but didn't look for very long.

OMG, Led Zepplin is to reunite.
